The Golden Compass & The Subtle Knife Reviews
So I know this trilogy came out like a million years ago and I’m just way behind, but here we go. I listened to the audiobooks for the first two books in the His Dark Materials trilogy. (I have a hold on the last one at my library). A lot of people love these books. But honestly, I wasn’t so impressed with the first one. I liked it. It was good. But it wasn’t as super awesome as people make it seem. To me, at least. But I loved the second one! I’m really not sure why, but I thought the second one was SO much more interesting than the first one. And now I am so excited to read the last one.
